New Trail Managers and Equipment Manager
Club Concession Help
Our committee co-chairman, Mr. Bill Lemke is looking into the possibility of the club again doing concessions for the Fall Harley Ride and Minocqua Beef-A-Rama, if these events happen.
In order to proceed with his inquiry, Bill needs to have some idea of the number of volunteers he would have to work.
If you are interested and able to volunteer to work one or both of these functions, please call Bill at 715-432-0998 (cell) or 715-358-6005.
You can also e-mail him at moc.reitnorfnull@ekmelb

With the recent resignation of the current Trail Boss effective 07/01/2020, the Cross Country Cruisers Board of Directors has decided to split the duties of this position, forming a Trail Boss/Manager position and an Equipment Manager position.
The Board is actively seeking two (2) volunteers to take on these positions with the duties of each as follows:
1. Will organize volunteers for brushing and signing of trails in the fall.
2. Notify the Club Secretary about work days so an e-mail will go out to membership via Website and Facebook.
3. Solicit and manage trail groomer personnel, develop and post the Groomer Schedule.
4. Schedule Trail Inspections with County representatives.
5. Work alongside other club members regarding landowner agreements, updates, and changes.
6. Attend monthly Onieda and Vilas County Alliance Meetings and report at Board Meetings.
1. Keep and maintain equipment records of all Club equipment.
2. Manage Club volunteers for weekly maintenance day, typically Wednesday.
3. Responsible for scheduling major equipment repairs with suppliers as necessary.
4. Oversee maintenance of Club buildings and grounds.
Both of these positions are to report to Club Officers and attend Board of Director meetings in addition to general Club meetings.
Both of these positions will have voting rights regarding club issues, policies, etc.
For further information or to volunteer for either of these positions, please contact any Board Member, Club Officer as listed on our website www.crosscountrycruisers.com or search www.snowmobilewi.com.

Update on Upcoming Meetings
To the whole Cruiser Nation:
I sincerely hope that this message finds you all in good health. I along with the Board of Directors have come to the conclusion that with the the snowmobile trails closed and the pending Corona-virus pandemic, the club members should consider doing the following:
- The upcoming membership meeting at Fibbers will go on as planned. We need to approve the new year (2020-2021) budget and to complete the election process. Also it would not be fair to Fibbers Restaurant to cancel at this late date. The food is already ordered and the count has been called in. Furthermore, I believe that most of those who are attending have not traveled very far from home recently. Those who have signed up and are planning to attend, please do so UNLESS you come down with any serious illness concerns.
- The Board and I have decided that after this meeting (on Tuesday) all major business for the club will have been completed for this year. So, with that in mind and the coran-virus situation, we are cancelling the April Board and Membership meetings.
- Our next meetings to be held will be in September, 2020.
- The Annual Appreciation Dinner and Awards Banquet which is scheduled for April 25, 2020 will be held as scheduled at this time. A decision to re-schedule to a future date will be made later depending on the corona-virus situation. I will be in contact with you when a decision is made.
- All map box coordinators are requested to pick up all boxes and turn them in at the club house as soon as you can. Contact Dave to turn in the money collected.
The Board of Directors and Club Officers will handle any problems that may come up over the summer by E-mail and keep the members informed.
We all wish you a Wonderful Happy, Healthy and Safe summer.
See you on Tuesday, if you have signed up for the dinner or are just planning to attend.
